Future-Ready Transition Program
This program is designed to holistically strengthen and improve your special needs child’s functional life skills beyond the classroom. It’s about getting an immersive “real world” experience that builds skills and confidence in a meaningful way.
Once your child turns 14, your IEP Team will start discussing Transition Planning for after high school. This can feel scary and overwhelming, especially if you don’t have a clear roadmap for your child’s future.
Schools aren’t equipped with the appropriate training, time or budget to focus on functional life skills, but your student needs to be prepared to take on their new role and responsibilities in the world after graduation.
