  • Vision Statement & Goal Setting: Collaborate to create a clear postsecondary Vision Statement and actionable goals that reflect your teen's dreams for the future.

  • Personalized Transition Action Plan: Receive a tailored roadmap for your teen’s future, covering their aspirations in independent living, employment, education, and community involvement. This plan ensures alignment with diploma or certificate goals, incorporates essential assessments, and guarantees that IEP goals and services are on track for success.

  • Advocacy Support in Special Education Meetings: Have a specialist by your side in one Special Education Meeting online to ensure your child's needs are fully represented.

  • Ongoing Access to Expertise: Enjoy 90-day access to Lisa via a private advocacy app, where you can ask questions and receive guidance, Monday through Friday.

How it Works!

This step-by-step process is designed to simplify the journey, alleviate your anxiety, and empower you with the tools and knowledge to confidently guide your teen toward a successful future.

  1. In-Depth IEP & Transition Plan Review:
    I’ll start by thoroughly reviewing your child’s current IEP & Transition Plan, identifying areas that need improvement or alignment with their postsecondary goals.

  2. Personalized Coaching Session:
    We’ll engage in a two-hour one-on-one coaching call to address your top three special education concerns, providing you with expert strategies and actionable steps.

  3. Vision Statement & Goal Setting:
    Together, we’ll create a clear Vision Statement and set realistic, achievable goals that reflect your teen’s dreams for their future.

  4. Personalized Transition Action Plan: Receive a tailored roadmap for your teen’s future, covering their aspirations in independent living, employment, education, and community involvement. This plan ensures alignment with diploma or certificate goals, incorporates essential assessments, and guarantees that IEP goals and services are on track for success.

  5. Expert Advocacy in Meetings:
    I’ll attend one Special Education Meeting online with you, ensuring your teen’s needs are effectively communicated and represented.

  6. Ongoing Support & Access:
    For 90 days, you’ll have direct access to me through a private advocacy app, where I’ll answer your questions and provide continued guidance, helping you stay on track.

Hi I'm Lisa!

I'm an IEP Coach, Postsecondary Transition Specialist, and a mom of a child with a disability.  

I’m on a mission to help parents cultivate a vision for the future of their special needs student after high school and provide the services needed to make that future happen!

I have unique first-hand experiences navigating the world of educational and medical systems for individuals with special needs — I myself was born blind and I’m blessed to be the mom of an autistic son.

Today, I offer customized services to help parents, teachers, and students dream big, find hope, and celebrate every success. Your special needs child deserves to live a joyful life and to thrive as an adult – and I’m here to help you make sure that happens.
