FREE IEP + Transition Planning Checklists & Roadmap

If you are preparing a Special Needs Teenager for life after high school, YOU belong here!

Special Needs Parents, Teachers and Community Agencies It is time to discover how to holistically prepare today’s special needs students for tomorrow’s world.

Welcome, I'm Lisa!

I am on a mission to help special education teachers and parents build better IEPs that will prepare a student to become future-ready. Plus, offer Special Needs Teens a unique Future-Ready Transition Program which holistically strengthen an individual's functional life skills beyond classrooms and worksheets.

As a special needs mother & Special Education Consultant, I get it that your priority is focused on getting your student through each day of school or through the current school year.  So you haven’t had the time or energy to focus on what your student’s life will look-like after graduation.

But before you know it your student will turn 14 and the IEP Team will begin to discuss Transition Planning for life after high school.

In that moment, you discover you have no clear roadmap for your student’s future.  You begin to panic about the unknowns of transitioning from special education services to adult services.  You worry if your student will have the skills required to become independent as possible, obtain competitive employment and experience a lifelong love for learning by the time they graduate.  You feel uninformed where to find fragmented resources for your student.

Unfortunately, schools have limited instructional time to focus on functional life skills and community agencies/services have waiting lists. This results in student's being inadequately prepared for the real world after graduation.

The weight of your child’s future is on your shoulders!  I get it, and I can help!

Life is full of possibilities!  The Future-Ready Transition Program bridges special education gaps by holistically preparing students for life after high school.
